I-215 AND PALM AVE. INTERCHANGE

ABOUT OUR PROJECT

California Polytechnic State University, Pomona assigned a team of 15 students to perform a feasible study for the I-215 Palm Ave. Interchange within the City of San Bernardino of the County of San Bernardino to serve daily commuters and relieve congestion for the community.

  • The existing conditions were researched, and future traffic was simulated.

  • Preliminary evaluation of number of possible

  • Alternatives are considered and analyzed.

  • The geometric, traffic, and environmental factors were followed with regard to local, state, and federal design standards.

  • ​The project team are to recommend the ideal improvement ​for construction for the next 25 years.
