CONSTRUCTION STAGING

" For stage one of the construction staging plan, we begin by joining the two freeway bridges into one. There is about 30ft between the existing bridges so there will be no need to divert traffic during this part. Next would be to realign Kendall Drive on the SB side of the freeway with an existing county road to prevent the street from being directly opposite the existing freeway ramps. Next, Little League drive will be realigned to be parallel with the channel. Throughout this stage we will also relocate all the utilities that are in the way. In Stage two freeway traffic will be pushed towards the center of the bridge to allow for the freeway to be built out on the ends.The southbound loop on and tight diamond off will be constructed during this stage as well. Looking north of the I-215, the northbound on ramp will also be constructed and connected to the realigned Little League Drive. In Stage three we close the existing southbound on and off ramps and build the new southbound on ramp. The existing northbound on ramp will be closed at this time to allow for the new northbound off ramp to be constructed. Stage four is the project’s final stage. Here we close the existing northbound off ramp which completes our adjustments to the freeway. We will then see the bridge over the Cable Creek Channel expanded and the intersection re-striped. After this the project will be complete. "
